GP2 Bahrain 2: First win for Lapierre

Nicolas Lapierre finally took his first GP2 win in his third year in the series. Timo Glock finished second, as he did in the first race, while first round winner Luca Filippi completed the podium.

Borja Garcia could only manage fourth having started on pole. But Briton Mike Conway evoked memories of Lewis Hamilton’s performance last year by storming through from 24th to fifth.

Kazuki Nakajima passed Michael Ammermuller on the last lap for the final point.
