Now Ron Dennis backs a 14 year-old too

Not wishing to be outdone by Frank Williams, Ron Dennis has also got behind an aspiring 14 year-old racer in the hopes of finding the next Lewis Hamilton.

Kart racer Oliver Rowland has been taken on by the McLaren and Mercedes-Benz Young Drivers Support Programme. Hamilton joined the same programme in 1998 at the age of 13.

Rowland will receive technical, management, physical and, most importantly of all, financial support through the programme.
