it’s absolutley stunning. and not constant dark, like in Singapore (okay, the free practices there are similar), but changing light conditions in many colours. i enjoyed the beginning of the qualy, with the late-afternoon setting. oh man…
And to think that it all depends on scruffy Silverstone where so many constructors, engineers and drivers have learned their trade.
This is a hotel complex with shops, saunas, swimming pools and a racing track for ? how many events each year, F3, club meetings, historic racing.
Good to see Abu Dahbi as long as the heart of the industry prospers but useless without the cars.
See how many drivers you can list who came up by way of F3 in the UK.

looking down the pit straight towards the final corner looks like something out of a movie,
the circuit doesnt seem to fit in with the FIA’s cost cutting plan though

I’m gonna make the pit lane picture into a poster. Love the mood of that picture. In case you don’t know which one i’m taking about, it’s this: http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2009/10/31/abu-dhabi-gp-qualifying-in-pictures/suti_forc_abu_2009-1-2/
