    1. Not gonna lie, I don’t like Button’s chances from here ;)

      1. It would be awesome if Vettel had 100 points less, lol, the time top five would be interesting then.

        1. I think if Vettel had 185 points it’s be quite cool.

    2. Now battle for No.2…Button has upper hands, Alonso still focusing, Webber has gear, Hamilton lost ground, Massa out far before…

    3. Congrats to Seb but I have to admit in a completely biased way I’m absolutely chuffed Fernando is 3rd.

      1. Give him better car!! :D

        1. His car is equal to the McLaren. 1-2 tenths slower than RB. Alonso is overrated.

          1. well not in qualifying though.

    4. Button’s now 32 points ahead of Hamilton.

Will he become the first (and perhaps the only) driver to ouperform Lewis in an equal car over a season’s course? I’m betting a dime on it.

      1. me either. Considering he retired twice due to team’s silly mistake, Button have done much better than Hamilton this year. of course Hamilton retired more but it was quite his fault.

    5. Funny to see that after having had 4 more races then Heidfeld, Petrov is still only 2 point ahead of him. Opinions may vary, but I wouldn’t have sacked Heidfeld.

      1. partially his lack of pace, partially disastrous Renault car.

      2. @txizzle They probably weren’t too keen on him setting fire to the car all the time.

    6. Great battle for 2nd going on still.

Rosberg had a great result, considering the disaster he had in qualifying but he needs to get some better results to fend off Schumacher.

    7. 2nd Mercedes need to fight hard to hold that place against Renault but 1st they have to stop both the drivers fighting against each other, that is one BIG team in the in the last 2 years so far didn’t had trouble between their team-mates.

    8. Regarding the Constructors’ Championship:

      1st and 2nd place give a team 43 points (25 + 18).
With 4 races remaining the maximum a team can get is 172.
After Korea that maximum will become 129.

Red Bull lead McLaren by 130 points as it stands at the moment.

In order to win the Constructors’ Championship in Korea they need to get within 1 point of whatever McLaren score.

      1. Actually they need to match what McLaren score if they win, being 129 points ahead isn’t good enough because McLaren could still beat them on countback; currently Red Bull have 9 wins and 6 seconds and McLaren have 5 wins and 5 seconds, so if they get a 1-2 in all the remaining races they would have 9 wins and 9 seconds trump Red Bull on countback if there was a points tie. However this will only work if McLaren win otherwise they wouldn’t be able to match Red Bull’s victory total. So, if McLaren win, Red Bull need to match their points total, if McLaren don’t win, they can afford to score 1 point less… complicated isn’t it!

        1. Indeed it is, as you have to factor in both drivers and the 20 or so possible positions each driver can finish in :)

    9. 1. Simple word : Impossible

    10. And the gap between Jenson and Lewis continues to grow. Now 32 points with only 4 races to go. Since Germay Jenson has had 5 straight podiums with 2 wins and 2 seconds. Lewis has not even been on the podium since Germany. Jenson now has 9 podiums to Lewis’s 4 this year. So Jenson is garanteed to have more more podiums than Lewis this season.

    11. Incidentally, Hamilton and Button have only shared one podium this year (Spain); Hamilton’s other three have been in races where Button has underperformed. Spain was the only race this year where a team other than Red Bull has had a double podium…

    12. Massa’s closer to Rosberg than Hamilton. Not good.
