@joao-pedro-cq I think it’s because it’s winter, the sun is lower in the sky, so you can get some dramatic pictures. That plus the intrigue of the new machinery.
Can anybody explain the Ferrari exhaust orientation for me? It looks like it points downward toward the floor quite sharply, which is illegal under the new technical regs, at least as I understood it.
Is it actually legal to have the exhaust pointing downwards? Or is it simply an optical illusion created by the bodywork, and the exhaust exits arent really pointing down?

Actually ferrari’s exhaust is not downward rather pointing in a upward direction, but what they do is they put it in a manner that it looks like it is pointing downward…….. and they circumvent that exhaust by their body work….. :-D
I like the McLaren, but it would be massively improved by having a sponsor on the side of the bulkhead- it doesn’t look great as a large slab of chrome.
That McLaren looks UGLY from the side profile!!! Best looking front on though. But the Ferrari from the side looks awesome especially at the rear with those exhausts. My prediction will be RedBull then McLaren followed by a struggling Ferrari at first which will improve after the first few races and be challenging for the championship by the end.

I’ve used a URL shortener on the link – @matt90 can you do the same next time please? A 462-character link just for a picture is a bit much.

Oops, sorry @keithcollantine! How do you shorten a link though? I’m a bit simple with computers you see.

Oh god, I love these pictures taken during testing. They have something that the others don’t have during the season. Bar Monaco.

I would say you are probably right Keith, the low light adds a lot to how it reflects off the cars.

No pictures of Mercedes? Is there a reason for that or just a coincidence?

Thanks! I thought that might have been the case.
By the way, have you come across any photos that clearly show the F2012’s exhausts?

Actually the Williams side profile looks good too. Very 1997 minus the gold.
