  1. McLaren….smh.
and to think of all the pathetic monkey business that surrounded the driver’s line-up before the season… smh.
Two of today’s best F1 drivers wasted on this ‘car’…. They’ve spent more them watching others race(or in Jenson’s case, qualify) than actually racing themselves. (Not that they can do much racing with this machinery. I guess ‘driving’ is the more fitting term.)

  2. I think Red Bull’s current place in the standings goes to show a top team having a bad time will still outscore a midfield team having a decent time. Toro Rosso does not seem to be far off on track on some days, but are far behind in the points. Meanwhile, there seems to be an interesting fight between Lotus, Sauber and Force India brewing. Hopefully Sauber doesn’t fall too far off and it can develop into something like the Sauber-Force India battle we had in either 2012 or 2013.

  3. Now that we’ve had a number of races, allowing accidents and mechanical failures to balance themselves out a little, I’m struck by how accurately the drivers’ championship standings reflects the pecking order of the season so far. I’d put money on the top six being in exactly their current order come the end of the season, and it’s only because Lotus had a strong weekend that I don’t feel confident extending that prediction to the top eight or nine.
