McLaren has confirmed the launch date for its 2018 F1 challenger, the MCL33.
The new car will break cover on February 23rd, one day after Ferrari launches its new car.
McLaren’s 2018 car will be their first to be powered by a Renault engine. The team has retained Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne as its drivers for the new season.

Last year it was #ChangeYourGame. They obviously took that message to heart, at least as far as their engine supplier is concerned.

All corporates have a #MakeUpHashTags department. Where do you think we got #Courage from?

DAMMIT! I’m going to be away. The McLaren launch is my Christmas but I’m going to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with no internet. Maybe I can cancel my holiday…
BTW, it’s obviously going to be papaya orange. I’m not sure how happy I am about that. I don’t call it heritage like some people, considering it was only used for about 6 seasons, but I guess it looks ok.

As they are switching to Renault engine, Surely there are chances of winning races. Chances For vandoorne, Only if team management allows him to do so.
Remembering clash between Perez and Ocon.

I rather hope for their sake its a decent car. If they aren’t on the pace of Red Bull or consistently close their cries of ‘best chassis’ will look rather silly.
Mashiat (@mashiat)

@rocketpanda Don’t believe they ever stated they had the best chassis overall. Just a chassis that was capable of winning a few times a year.

@mashiat, as far as I can recall, I believe that they have claimed a few times that they had the third best chassis in the field, but I don’t recall McLaren ever claiming to have the best chassis in the field.
