Robert Kubica will make three practice outings for Williams in 2018.
Kubica will drive in first practice at the Circuit de Catalunya, Red Bull Ring and one other circuit this year he confirmed at the team’s season launch.
The 33-year-old has been seeking a return to F1 after being injured in a rally crash seven years ago. He has taken a reserve driver role at Williams after being passed over in favour of Sergey Sirotkin for a race seat.
“I’m back permanently in the F1 paddock, so I’m looking forward to it,” said Kubica.
“It will be interesting to go back to some of the places I have been before, some of them providing different emotions from different moments in my life.”
“Sometimes it can be quite difficult watching others racing, but I have a different role this year. It’s sure to be a tough season with a lot of races and things to do. I have to be on top of the work I have to do for the team.”

Hungaroring being basically an abroad Polish Grand Prix seems likely candidate for 3rd outing. At lease I hope so ;D

Three is pretty pathetic….and the A1 ring doesn’t have many turns. Not good enough but, clearly, that’s the best he could get.

Canadian GP as the third? It is a track where he has experienced the extremes of F1 – mega crash one year and the thrill of victory the following.
