Those big, rounded, orange front endplates give the side-on profile an air of 1975 bluff-nosed March. Obviously not a bluff nose really, but that’s how it looks side on. Generally though, it’s disappointing to see these ridiculously outsized front wings remaining with the new regs. The return of ground effect surely presented a chance to get rid of them and return to much simpler, smaller wings. Indeed, in the old days of ground effect, cars sometimes ran without front wings at all.
