I love the back-yard test circuit, and I’ll bet it is so much fun driving around a twisty track like that, which I guess must be used for testing their road cars. It is such a shame that they wouldn’t be able to use it for basic tests of an F1 car. Same with Ferrari which has its own track and skid pan at Maranello which no longer gets used as much as it should. Pne of the reasons so many reams clustered around the midlands UK was because of the proximity of Silverstone for testing. Now that testing is limited to a few pre-season fly away tests, they probably wish they’d located closer to airports instead.
