The only conclusion I can come to is Schumacher was put behind Rosberg in Monaco. I know it might take a bit more time and effort to do the qualifying stats as before penalties unrelated to that qualifying are applied, but that’s the only way they will make any sense especially with all the gearbox penalties.
I think most people use them for a quick look at who is the fastest over a single lap rather than seeing how many times a driver actually started ahead of the other but I guess that has some benefits too. Anyway just a suggestion.

Only times should matter here. Penalties and championship points are for almanacs. Pure speed matters in qualifying and only by this should drivers be compared.

I agree, this is seriously misleading. Grid penalties has nothing to do with the qualifying performance! It should be 10:10. Schumacher was on par with Rosberg this year.
