The coverage has been appalling this year by FOM. Odd camera angles and random replays and cuts all over the place this year. And worst of all they have got rid of the time tracker from the bottom.

    1. The celebrity shots are even worse. At least with Carmen Jordá and Sutil’s gf they were in the garages.

  2. Yes, get in! If without Hamilton’s penalty Vettel would be still ahead.

    1. It was down to 5.6 seconds at one point, it would have been very close!! It’s a shame about the penalty, even if it was deserved.

      1. don’t forget Hamilton’s teammate let him past TWICE in the race, that is unprecedented in F1 from how long I remember f1, no driver in history has received such a gift in a race, so the finishing position of Hamilton is not all down to his driving or ability.

        1. Why are you so triggered by the fact Bottas had a issue and Mercedes tried their hardest to win, anyway the second time ham had such a pace advantage that it would have happened anyway.

        2. Not to mention that they got lucky with SC.

  3. How was the race?!?

I do not know if seen about everything but cars in the track. Seen Vettel finish but the rest? I don not know, only Vettel passed the finish line as i am aware, no timing that showed car finishing no intervals nothing.

    I give it a generous 4 out of 10

FIA get your act together !!!!

    1. Are you complaining about the race, or its coverage? You know you don’t have to watch, do you

      1. What is there to watch if the only thing you see is people in the pits, marchals and fireworks.

  4. Tough meeting by Mercedes after this race to decide how they manage their drivers this season.

    1. Not really. Bottas just rolls over and does what he is told.

  5. Today was a mess for Merc from the moment HAM lost that position to VET at the start, they couldn’t recover. VET opening a gap of 6 seconds to BOT in few laps while HAM was matching BOT lap times using slower tires was unjustified. And on top of this, both Merc stops behind SC were slow which allowed VET to jump to 1st. That recovery from HAM in last stint, using used soft tires was nice to watch however. VET and Ferrari were quick today, maybe, just maybe it would have been a different result in other circumstances.

  6. Oh Valtteri you just accepted to be no2…

    1. Valtery accepted to be any number Lewis wants him to be :p

  7. Force India scores again with a dodgy car, proves that just having a good car alone won’t win you points. Williams_stroll? And hass?.

I am curious if Alonso deliberately finished the race earlier? It felt like he could complete the race distance.

    1. Power unit failure

    2. There are apparently rumors that Alonso is not finishing races on purpose… Not sure if it’s true, but it’s crossed my mind previously as well.

  9. very very soon Alonso is going to replace Palmer at Renault.
