  1. Leclerc amazing performance against a 4x world champion and ricciardo like always getting the max out of his car

  2. Gasly managing to beat Seb and only losing to his teammate by 3 tenths, so an improvement on the last three race weekends pace-wise. What happened to Hulkenberg, though? He suddenly got beaten by both Norris and Albon while Ricciardo managed to finish ahead of them.

What happened to Vettel in this quali? Quite unusual for him, he is usually great at qualifying. Improvement by Gasly so that is good to see and a great job by Ricciardo.

    1. Weird performance by VET indeed. According to Crofty, in the last run, in sector 1 alone he was 0.3sec faster than LEC. Then, did not hear anything about his lap anymore.

      1. Wasn’t it the other way around, I though Crofty said Leclerc was 3 tenths faster than Seb? Maybe I’m wrong.

        1. You’re right… they said Leclerc was 3 tenths up on Vettel on his last run on Q3.

  4. Looks like the small amount of heat in track caused slower runs in last half of qualifying. I hope it rains tomorrow as it will spice up things on otherwise a mercedes parade.

    1. BBC forecast showing 1% chance of rain during the race, sadly

  5. I just heard he had DRS issues. His qualy was quite sketchy throughout especially doing Q2 on used softs. Leclerc was obviously going to beat him yes, but I find it hard to believe he is just this slow.
